Installing Frameless Plates Cleanly
A screwless plate has nowhere to hide a bad rough-in. These are the checks our technical team runs on every mock-up.
Before plaster
Set the box level to the finished plaster line, not the block work. Use a straightedge across two boxes to confirm they share a plane.
During installation
Dress conductors to the sides so the mechanism seats fully. Overfilled boxes are the most common cause of a plate that stands off the wall by a millimetre.
After installation
Remove the protective film only at handover, and clean with a dry microfibre cloth. Solvent cleaners will dull an anodised finish permanently.
